Review Toyota Service Alerts & Warnings in Volie’s Telematic Alerts list and on the customer’s Telematic Alerts tab so your BDC can follow up with the right vehicle context.

Before you start

Before you review Toyota Service Alerts in Telematic Alerts:

  • Toyota Service Alerts & Warnings must already be set up for the store (enabled by Volie, TMNA Organization Plugin with TMNA Dealer Code, and Campaign Mappings as needed)

  • Access to Admin → Telematic Alerts (managers) and/or the customer’s Telematic Alerts tab in Communication Center / customer profile (agents)

Definitions

These terms appear when you review Toyota Service Alerts in Telematic Alerts:

Term

Meaning

Telematic Alerts

The Volie list and customer-profile view where vehicle alerts and warnings appear, including Toyota Service Alerts & Warnings.

Campaign Enrollment

The campaign a matched customer was enrolled into for outreach, or a not-enrolled / enroll-error reason when enrollment did not happen.

Onboard Warnings

Specific vehicle warning names or codes shown on the alert (for example tire pressure or maintenance reminders).

Steps

Follow these steps to review Toyota Service Alerts in Telematic Alerts:

  1. Go to Admin → Telematic Alerts for a store-wide list.

  2. Set filters as needed: Start Date, End Date, Organization, Alert Status, Alert Type, and Campaign Enrollment.

  3. Review columns such as Received, Alert Type, Alert Status, Onboard Warnings, vehicle fields (Vin, Odometer), and Campaign Enrollment.

  4. Open the customer profile or Communication Center for a person you are contacting.

  5. Open the Telematic Alerts tab.

  6. Expand an alert card to review Received At, Alert Timestamp, Alert Type, Status, Vehicle, VIN, Odometer, Onboard Warnings, and enrollment details.

  7. If enrollment failed, read the ENROLL ERROR: text on the alert and use that exact reason when troubleshooting with an admin or Support.

Tips

When you review Toyota Service Alerts in Telematic Alerts, these tips help:

  • Have agents open the Telematic Alerts tab before contacting so they can reference alert type, onboard warnings, odometer, and enrollment status in the conversation.

  • Use Onboard Warning Contains campaign mappings when a specific warning (for example Tire Pressure Warning System) should go to a dedicated play, and Telematic Alert Type mappings when broad Maintenance or Warning routing is enough.

  • If the list is empty, widen the date range and clear filters. Empty-state copy on the Admin list is: Unable to find any telematic alerts. Please adjust your search criteria. On the customer tab it is: Unable to find any Telematic Alerts.

What success looks like

When you finish reviewing Toyota Service Alerts in Telematic Alerts, you can see alert type, status, onboard warnings, vehicle details, and whether the customer enrolled into a campaign. If enrollment succeeded, Campaign Enrollment (or the Enrolled field on the customer tab) shows the campaign name and communication type. If you don’t see an expected enrollment, read the not-enrolled or ENROLL ERROR: text on the alert and confirm Campaign Mappings, VIN match, and alert status.

Limitations

Toyota Service Alerts & Warnings has these verified limits when you review alerts:

  • Not every visible alert enrolls or dials — enrollment still requires an actionable alert, VIN match, allowed warning handling, and a matching Campaign Mapping.

  • Recall-class warnings are reference-only for enrollment; notice-class warnings are ignored for enrollment. You may still see the alert for review with a not-enrolled reason.

  • Dealer-actioned or terminal alert statuses do not enroll; prior enrollments for that alert may be withdrawn when status changes.

  • There is no separate Toyota-only screen — day-to-day work stays in Telematic Alerts, Organization Plugins, and Campaign Mappings.

Common questions

Why does a Toyota alert say it was not enrolled?

A Toyota alert usually shows a not-enrolled or ENROLL ERROR: reason when there is no matching Campaign Mapping, no VIN customer match, recall-class or notice-class warning handling, a dealer-actioned or terminal alert status, no actionable warning signal on the alert, or no valid contact method for the mapped campaign. Use the exact text on the alert as the starting point with Support.

Where do agents see Toyota Service Alerts during a call or follow-up?

Agents see Toyota Service Alerts on the customer’s Telematic Alerts tab in Communication Center / customer profile. Managers can also review the store-wide Admin → Telematic Alerts list.

Does this replace every other Toyota or telematic feed we already use?

Toyota Service Alerts & Warnings brings Toyota service alerts and warnings into the same Telematic Alerts experience. Whether your store still uses another historical Toyota path at the same time depends on your account setup — confirm with your CSM before changing existing campaigns.

Can I filter Telematic Alerts to only enrolled Toyota alerts?

Yes. On Admin → Telematic Alerts, use the Campaign Enrollment filter (along with Organization, Alert Type, and date filters) to narrow the list to the enrollment state and alert types you care about.
