Create a Connect Key, save the secret once, then attach communication queues (and organizations when access is Limited).

Before you start

To set up Connect Keys, you need:

An Admin role (Manager, Owner, or Super Admin). Organization Manager can open the page by URL.
A place to store the Secret Key (it is shown only once)

Definitions

These terms appear when you set up Connect Keys:

Term	Meaning
Access Key	The public key identifier (visible later on the Connect Key)
Secret Key	The private secret, shown only at create or after Rotate Keys
Organization Access	All organizations, or Limited to selected organizations

Steps

Follow these steps to set up Connect Keys:

Go to Admin → Connect Keys.
Select the plus icon to open New Connect Key.
Enter Name , Role (Agent or Manager), Organization Access (All or Limited), and Status (Active or Inactive). If Limited, select Organization(s) on create.
Select Create Connect Key.
Copy Access Key and Secret Key immediately. Volie shows: This is the ONLY time that the secret key can be viewed. You cannot recover it later. However, you can rotate keys at any time.
Open the Connect Key. On Communication Queues, add queues (Add All if needed). If access is Limited, attach organizations on the Organizations tab.

What success looks like

When Connect Key setup is complete, Admin → Connect Keys shows Name, Role, Access, Status, and Access Key, and the Communication Queues tab lists attached queues. If you lost the secret, select Rotate Keys on edit — that issues a new secret (the previous secret stops working).

Limitations

Connect Keys have these verified limits:

Role cannot be changed after create.
The Organizations tab appears only when Organization Access is Limited.
The Secret Key is never shown again except after Create Connect Key or Rotate Keys.

Common questions

Who can set up Connect Keys?

Admins with Manager, Owner, or Super Admin access can set up Connect Keys from Admin → Connect Keys. Organization Manager can use the page if they have the URL.

What if I lost the Connect Key secret?

You cannot recover a lost Connect Key secret. Open the Connect Key, select Rotate Keys, and store the new Secret Key. The old secret stops working.
