Chrome will sometimes have updates that will result in the microphone needing to be reset. Every new agent using Volie for the first time will need to ENABLE Volie to use their microphone. This is the “Allow” step when you click to initiate a call in Volie. To reset your microphone on Google Chrome, you will:

  • On a Mac computer, you will select “Chrome” at the top left and then click on Preferences.

  • If your computer is not a Mac, you will right-click on your Google Account Profile. From this dropdown, you will select “Settings” at the bottom.

From here, you will go into Site Settings, and then Microphone.

You can Delete the Volie Application by clicking the trash can in Microphone settings.

From here, you will log back into the Volie application. You will Open up the call screen.

  • We recommend going into Manual Mode and creating yourself as a customer. This enables you to test dial yourself.

When you click to initiate the call, you will see a pop-up from Google Chrome. It will ask you if you want to enable Volie to access your Microphone. Click ALLOW. Test by checking if you hear both ends of the call. End the call by selecting a disposition and then you are good to go!
