Users

Navigate to this page in the app to help create and manage your existing users in Volie.

Locating Users

  • From the main dashboard, click Admin in the gray menu on the left side of the screen.

  • On the right hand side, under the Users header, click Users.

Main Users Page Overview

  • The dashboard displays each user's name, role, and the date they accepted their login invitation.

  • To force a user to log out, click the purple arrow icon next to their name.

  • To edit a user’s details, click the orange pencil icon next to their name.

  • To send a user's invitation if not previously done, click the blue + icon next to their name.

Creating a New User

  • To create a new user, click the plus sign icon located to the left of the search bar.

  • Select the user’s organization, then enter their email address, first and last name, time zone, and default role. (Additional organizations can be added later.)

  • To assist in choosing the correct default role:

    • Account Agents & Managers: Agents and managers who will log in and actively use Volie.

    • Organization Managers and Client Employees: Users who may not need to log in to Volie but can be assigned as Alert Recipients or Transfer Contacts.

  • To send them an invitation to get logged into Volie, click the Send User Invitation button.

  • When done, click the green Create button.

Adjusting User Settings

  • You’ll be taken to the user’s settings page, where you can make any necessary adjustments.

  • Advanced Settings

    • You can enable an inactivity timeout for the user if needed.

    • To automatically add the user to any new organizations or campaigns, keep the “Receive New Organizations” box checked.

    • You can adjust the agent’s overall skill level by typing a value directly or using the up and down arrows in the field.

  • Organizations

    • Here you can add any additional organizations the user should have access to.

    • For managers or users who will be pulling metrics, ensure they have access to all organizations from which metrics need to be retrieved.

  • Call Queues

    • Here you can grant the user access to any call queues they should have permission to use.

    • For managers or users who will be pulling metrics, ensure they have access to all call queues from which metrics need to be retrieved.
